As Carewise’s Worker, you will play an integral part in providing support with personal care and daily support to service users in their own homes. If you have a genuine care for others and have good communication skills (written and spoken ), then apply today!
Principal responsibilities:
Prepare initial care assessments and reports.
Help with personal care
Shopping & meal preparation
Prompting with medication
Support with daily routines
Socialising and leisure activities
Helping clients access the community
Monitor all Service Users for customer satisfaction;
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in Service Users’ homes;
Ensure that all written reports and administration is up to date;
Liaise closely with the Branch Manager and Care Coordinator in the office and report back regularly on activity in the field;
To be on-call to cover calls in case of emergency.
Essential Skills and Characteristics:
Caring, reliable, honest , trustworthy and compassionate attitude.
A warm, friendly, and professional manner;
Commitment to undertake Health and Social Care Diploma level 2 within two years of appointment
Desirable Skills:
Completed QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification and upwards.
